Ride Like a Mother

The title of this blog post cracks me up! Ever since we have got the stroller that pulls behind the bike, I have been addicted. So on Mother’s day, Brandon asked what I would like to do and I said a family bike ride. He suggested we go to White Rock and ride around there. I loved that idea and so we packed up our bikes and rode for 10 miles. After that we grabbed lunch and then just hung out as a family.

I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband who has made me a mother of two wonderful kids. Brooke and Luke are so special to me and captured my heart like no one else ever has. They truly remind me daily of God’s love and grace. I am so thankful to be their mother and love them so very much.

Food Truck Fest

Brandon heard about this food truck fest and asked if I wanted to go. I am always up for new and fun tings so of course I said yes! We had thunderstorms that day and a slight chance for them again that night but we took our chances and went anyways. The trucks were so much fun and getting food from different ones was so exciting. My favorite thing I got from one of the trucks was a slider. Brooke was so hungry and ate almost a bite of everything we got! Brandon really liked the steak frites. These were Parmesan fries with sliced pieces of steak on top of them! We had a great time and just as we were leaving it started to rain. I am so thankful and blessed for a wonderful husband who likes to do fun things with our family.

Fruit Cups

Brandon went to the grocery store and almost bought a couple of large containers of fruit. He saw the price tag and decided that we could make our own for cheaper. So he bought all different types of fruit and we made our own large fruit cups for a lot less money!
